Celebrate 25 years of 3S with the Jazzy Circuit—the only nationwide tournament series for Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike!

This season, in addition to offline Auto-Qualifiers and Ranking Events, players get to qualify for the Jazzy Finale by competing online.

For the first time ever, Jazzy will host a separate series of online tournaments with its own points system, and the TWO players who earn the most points from competing in these tournaments will also qualify for the Finale.

The Jazzy Finale takes place during Jazzy Finale Weekend—a THREE-day celebration of 3rd Strike and fighting games—on June 21-23 at Akihabara Arcade in Westminster, CO.

Jazzy Finale Weekend will also feature a 5 on 5 team tournament, community side events, and a Last Chance Qualifier for the Jazzy Finale.

We offer discounts for set ups, with the venue fee being discounted $5 to people who bring an accepted set up (listed below) for tournament play. This includes full DLC and the current patch of the game. We have some monitors on site but encourage players to bring their own 60hz monitors as well to ensure we have enough equipment.

SHMUP SLAM 7

Shmup Slam has returned! To those new to the event, Shmup Slam is a GDQ-ish type of event that I do that hosts a non-stop wave of live shmup runs where players set their own scoring or survival goals and try to pull them off live on stream.

What's really fun about shmups, unlike most speedrunning, is that if the player messes up, the consequence is destruction and a game over, vs just losing some time or a PB. So the stakes are extremely high which makes watching and playing the genre in this setting very exciting. This year Slam 7 is going to be hosted at Akihabara Arcade in Westminster, Colorado, which will be extremely cool because if you are a fan of the genre but don't feel like your wanting to play a live demonstration on stream, coming to the event to hang out and watch and play all the awesome arcade cabs at the venue is still going to be a great time :-) Here is the sign up form for in-person. There are no fees or anything, just a way for me to start making the player schedule and see how many people plan on attending in-person.
